D. Schau & Associates, Inc. was built on the principle of meeting of the highest standards and providing personal attention at a competitive price. Incorporated in 1984 in the State of Missouri as an environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety consulting firm, D. Schau & Associates, Inc. offered Certified Industrial Hygiene and Certified Safety inspection services to the insurance and construction industries for OSHA compliance. 

In 1986, D. Schau & Associates, Inc. began offering asbestos management support to help guide companies through new and more comprehensive asbestos standards established by OSHA and the EPA for the construction industry.  A second office was opened in Durham, North Carolina, and the company was renamed as Ecosafe.  Ecosafe offered industrial hygiene consulting services including site inspections to the U.S. Government General Services Administration (Region 6), the U.S. military out of Aberdeen, Maryland, and National Guard facilities throughout the U.S.

In 1990, Ecosafe consolidated its operations in St. Louis, Missouri and returned to its original name, D. Schau & Associates, Inc.  In 2005, D. Schau & Associates, Inc. moved to its current corporate location in Brentwood, Missouri and continues to offer the most reliable comprehensive environmental services and air monitoring.

Now celebrating its 25^th anniversary, D. Schau & Associate, Inc. is nationally recognized as a leading comprehensive industrial hygiene consulting firm.
